What's On Your Summer Reading List?

Hi there,

I’ve been on a book reading spree lately and I can’t help myself from sharing the big takeaways (if you’ve had coffee with me within the last two months, you’re very aware of this enthusiasm). I’ve specifically been reading non-fiction, lots of self-help and entrepreneurial books. Belong, is one of them and it was a huge game changer for me.

It reminded me of the importance of sharing my gifts with the world.

It reminded me of the importance of intentionality - being thoughtful and purposeful about what I want.

It reminded me of the importance of reflection.

It reassured me that I'm on the right track (and that my community is awesome!).

It made me laugh.

It inspired me to share my journals and resources with the world.

The Breathe & Learn Facilitator Program will be coming soon:)

In the meantime, I'm putting together my summer reading list. Just like a kid, I encourage you to do the same. Books are powerful and such great teaching and learning tools for all of us - they’re a big part of the B&L curriculum too.

If you’re anything like me, you need a cute sheet to write it on, so here ya go. Hang it up and hold yourself accountable. Make this summer your summer of reading.

Here’s a list of my favorite kids mindfulness books. I’m also curious about the books you love - children or adult books. Any suggestions? Send me an email and let me know. You’ll find mine in stories soon.

Happy reading!

P.S. Yesterday I attended Daybreaker, an early morning yoga session and dance party, founded by the author of Belong. My good friend Heather and I went together. Needless to say, we had an AMAZING time. Check us out in the Mantra Mirror below!

"Sharing our unique gifts with the greater whole is vital to our humanity. We are at the top of the food chain because we are the best at collaborating, whether through storytelling, skill sharing, or community building. So let's honor our individuality and our authentic gifts by sharing ourselves with the world." - Radha Agrawal

My First Time Skiing

Embarrassed.  Excited.  Cautious.  Clumsy. Nervous. Just a few of the emotions I felt as I attempted to walk in my skis across the snow and conquer the bunny hill.  I skied once in fourth grade and ha
