Service Description

The live virtual training is a comprehensive, 15 hour course designed for individuals who would like to share the gift of yoga and mindfulness with children ages 5-12.  More than just yoga poses, this training will help you further develop skills to relate to children and promote physical, mental and emotional health.  At Breathe & Learn, we believe yoga offers an opportunity to teach important life skills and plant the seeds for a lifetime of health and wellness. What you'll learn: ​Child development & the brain Classroom management  Understanding behavior Yoga poses Breathing & mindfulness exercises Creative games & activities  Lesson planning Teacher self-care​ What you'll walk away with: Free access to Self Paced course Breathe and Learn training manual Practice teaching experience Mentors and the opportunity to teach for Breathe and Learn Hesitant about screen time? Don't worry, we have plenty of scheduled breaks and will keep things active and engaging! Here's an outline of the weekend and a breakdown of the longer sessions on Saturday and Sunday: PST Time Zone Thursday - 5:00 - 7:00 (2 hrs learning time) Friday- 5:00 - 8:00 (2.5 hrs learning time) Saturday - 9:00am - 5:00pm ( 6hrs learning time) 8-10 10 - 10:30 (break) 10:30 - 12:30 12:30 - 1:30 (lunch) 1:30 - 3:30 3:30 - 3:45 (break) 3:45 - 4:00 Sunday - 8:30am - 1:30pm (4hrs learning time) 8:30-10:30 10:30-11:00 (break) 11:00 - 1:00 1:00 - 1:15 (break) 1:15-1:30
